I checked out my Red Box today getting the kids a movie and the cover that we've all seen on the sites for the dvd is not the image that is on the actual dvd. Whew

I was sitting in my car at 7-11, getting ready to pull out, when I looked up and saw the Red Box thingy in front of me. You know, the DVD rental box thingy, whatever its called. Anyway, I was quickly looking over the pictures of the featured DVDs and there was The Haunted Airman. I was shocked. To be featured on the front of the machine? Cool! (And it was the picture from the movie, not the Sex Drive premier pic that had been floating around on the internet, posing as the cover a month or so back)

Yeah, Red Box has been carrying this one. I was kind of surprised that they seemed to be featuring it the first week of release, but not all that much really as they know all too well that anything with Robert's name/face on it is going to sell/rent.
Mr. Six was a doll the other day when he hit the redbox and he almost rented it for me. I had told him I'd already seen it and while Robert and Julian Sands were both good, the movie was very odd. It's not one I have to have for my "collection" so to speak, but I am glad that it's been released. I'm looking forward to "How To Be" and "Little Ashes" releases as well as "Summer House"

Yeah, I when I posted that, I didn't realize you had posted seeing it in the Red Box before. I have little desire to rent or buy this movie, as I already have a copy burned on a disc. I feel bad, normally I would buy everything because 1) I like to support the artists I love and 2) I'm neurotic like that. I like to have matching copies for my collections. I want all store bought DVDs and I want to replace my copies of Twilight and New Moon with hardcovers. But unfortunately, not having a job right now, I don't really have the option of buying the DVD, especially when I already have a copy. I feel really bad about it though, if that helps any. Also I miss not having any of the extras on the DVD. But I have a feeling that The Haunted Airman might not have any extras on it. Does anyone have it? Are there any?
